Much Needed House Repair

Got up kind of early this morning to run a bunch of errands. Mailed off my copy of Slumdog Millionaire so Fox should send me the new and improved version. Hopefully. I may have just mailed off my copy for no good reason. Makes me wonder, what are they going to do with the DVDs? Sounds like they could market the good ones as "economy edition" and make a few bucks off of them in some other country.

After that, went downtown to the old Klatsch and picked a quarter pound bag of Sencha. I'm quite happy about this and look forward to it with great excitement. For those who are curious, Sencha is a fine, Japanese green tea. It has been sometime since I have had fresh green (I get black teas kind of often).

Finally, swerved by Home Depot to pick up a) potting soil, b) some plastic/metal stakes for a project, and c) a new toilet seat. Thank god for the last one. After an incident rendered my previous seat cracked about a year ago, it has degraded in a bad, bad way. No more cushioned seats for me. While I did get a cheaper end seat (no pun intended), if it lasts for a month, I will be delighted. DElighted, I tell you.

The project by the way is this: can I grow tomatoes on my apartment balcony? Effectively? All I know is I have spent something like $20 for what will be about $10 worth of tomatoes, if it works. After I spend hours and hours tending to them (and assuming the neighbors don't steal some). It is totally worth it.

Si Vales, Valeo
