Summary: I'm a big fan of images of abandoned places. So, a subreddit and Imgur feed dedicated to the concept? Amazing.

For the most part, my biggest feed-via-subreddit surfed on Imgur for me has been /r/aww, for the cuteness, mostly to send to Sarah. For my own enjoyment, though, I'm now bookmarking /r/abandonedporn, which sounds like a trap but it's not. It's lots and lots of nice pictures about abandoned places and things, as posted to the abandonedporn subreddit. It is a little bit urban decay, a little bit the march of time, a little bit of the out-of-the-way. I love it. Something about the aesthetic of the largely forgotten really, really appeals to me. Maybe it goes back to my days running around in old houses and down streets full of stores that were no longer open. I don't know.
Anyhow, here's a snapshot of the gallery from when I was looking at the feed, earlier:
Gorgeous.
