Summary: Today I have Blackwood Willow's "Gloom" stuck in my head. Don't have too much to say about it, but figured I'd point it out.

BLOT: (20 Mar 2013 - 02:34:08 PM)
I'll give you two guesses why I ended up, one night, listening to a song called "Gloom" by a band named Blackwood Willow. Do you even need two? Just in case you haven't quite figured it out, here is a very closely related DuckDuckGo search. And since The H.P. Lovecraft Literary Podcast coverage of that story was back last November, I guess we know about when I first heard the song. That's two really important questions, frankly, when and why. I don't know about you, but I feel really accomplished today.
I'm not 100% on the who, unfortunately. There is a Blackwood Willow Facebook profile, and a Blackwood Willow SoundCloud, of which I would mostly point in you the direction of the latter, since I still relatively hate Facebook. The video, below, which is the video where I first heard them, does talk about their first names, and goes into the background for the song, but outside of that, I've got nothing. Neat, huh? Having a song stuck in your head five months down the road and knowing practically nothing about anything to do with it? The glory that is being me.
At any rate, dig up "Gloom" on SoundCloud or watch the video below, and join with me in having it stuck in your head all afternoon. We'll have a little earworm psychic party, you and I...
