Weird Fiction Readers [who don't mind, or prefer, ebook versions] Rejoice!

Good news, weird fiction lovers! Night Shade Books, who for some time have had a 5-volume set of William Hope Hodgson and a 5-volume set of Clark Ashton Smith that are both considered the editions to seek out; unfortunately it would take well over a thousand dollars to track down hardcopies of all ten of these books. Luckily, they have now released both of those sets into ebook form.

While you can currently find the WHH volumes on Amazon.com, I have an even better bit of news for you: Baen Books is offering them through their ebook store, as well. For one price you get DRM-free versions that are compatible with Kindle, iPad, Nook, Palm Readers, browsers, Microsoft Word, and numerous other readers [i.e. you get access to mobi, epub, pdb, prc, doc/rtf, and html versions]. Sometimes the formatting could stand to be prettier because it is somewhat automatic on Baen, and built in chaptering can be wanky and inconsistent [for when you flip back and forth between chapters], but I have never had reason to truly complain.

The William Hope Hodgson 5-Volume Set

The Clark Ashton Smith 5-Volume Set

Looks like they are $6 per book, or $25 per bundle. I have despaired for a bit about finding the complete CAS set so I am ecstatic and next paycheck both of those are going to get snatched up for sure.

Note: I am in no way affliated with Baen or Night Shade, I'm just a weird fiction geek and this made me giggly.
