The thing in the library breakroom...

This is hanging in the third floor staff breakfroom at UAHuntsville's Salmon Library:

Just in case the "placid island of ignorance in the midst of black seas of infinity" is rending you unable to see what that is, it is a jigsaw puzzle, of about the 750 piece variety, of Reba Mcentire. Not just any Reba, but circa Tremors/For My Broken Heart Reba [note: the puzzle is from the same source image as the cover of It's Your Call, which was 1992]. It has been finished and stuck on the wall, nearish the door. Where, presumably, it comes out to feast upon students who get locked in at night. It's coat looks particular glossy these past few weeks, so it must have freshly eaten...
