I am sick. Present tense. Verb meaning "to be". I was sick last night. Past tense. The two sicknesses are no doubt the same sickness, but the one sickness was mostly just a sore throat while this one has very little sore throatedness and a whole lot of everything else. Not exactly feverish, but swooniness, headachery, general foul disposition. Any length of consciousness greater than about two straight hours drains me, and I have been conscious since about four this afternoon. I may be pushing my luck.
Last night, I tweeted my 9000th tweet: "I feel the need to point out that the trailer has *multiple* slow-motion action jump shots." Which is meaningless without the tweet right before it, where I made fun of a TV spot for the forthcoming movie,
I feel I fit into the annoying arsehole category, by quantity, though I would think not quality, of Twitterer. I've been on there for about two, maybe three years, and if you tweet three times a day you get about a 1000 per year and so the only way I'm getting this quantity is by hitting something like 10 per day, which seems excessive. I'm a mouthy Martha. Apologies to all people named Martha who are quiet.
Decided to watch a random movie off of Netflix tonight. It was
I cannot help but feel that some men will watch it and root for the disease. Eco-terrorists and chauvinists will bond over it. The only really reason I bring this up is because Brenna O'Brien (apparently the name means "dark haired beauty, whic makes it one of the most appropriate names on a person I have seen) tweeted (see, I'm bringing it together now) that she is also sick, which feels stalkerish now that I've posted that. By the say, Sarah, she did the voice of Rin. The reason this is weird, and I am talking about it, is because she was one of many that I noticed on Twitter today saying they were sick. We are a wide lot, generally separated by a large amount of geography. And then it hit me, when some Roland Emmerich style apocalyptic vector busts out, it will no longer be vague hints of government camps around the world...
It will have a hashtag.
