Summary: A blog dedicated to photography from around the country, focusing on abandoned theaters. Some interesting scenes of urban decay. The amount of backstory to the pictures can vary from post to post, but still somewhat fascinating.

After the Final Curtain: Abandoned Theaters From Around the Country

Found this linked through one of the sites I visit, forget which one:

Abandoned theaters, of both the stage (i.e. theatres) and movie (i.e. cinemas) sort. With some backstory [not a whole lot in some cases, a fair amount in others] along with a series of photos. Some interesting urban decay to flick through, your mileage my vary. Biggest issue the site/theme/concept has a whole is that after about five separate theaters, the variation in them begins to plummet. Still, worth a flip through.

As is true with a lot of such sites, looks like the concept is being channeled into a book. Fascinating, isn't it?, how the Internet is still mostly marketing for real world things.
