Summary: Taco Bell has been having a rough week, at least if you assume that anyone cares what's actually in their beef taco. In a response, they not only Thank Us for Suing Them (or something like that), but they finally out their special beef recipe: 88% Beef, 12% Secret. I think I'll take two.

So...a few minutes ago, I chided NPR for vapid hit seeking food articles, but the one linked there about Taco Bell lead me to this page, their [I kid you not] Thank You For Suing Us page. In this page, they out their secret recipe. Which is 88% Beef, 12% "secret". And sure, they go on to tell you waht their "secret" is, but never ever let the truth get in the way of a joke (or question what it means when 4% of the taco filling is pure, unadulterated spices...or question the fact that USDA label ground beef are not as simple as we are meant to believe).
Also, don't forget, the press release or whatever you call it thing informs us: plain ground beef is boring. They put in all those other things...for you.
